Fernlea is a modern house of character, situated in an elevated position midway between Broadford and the Skye Bridge. There are views across the water to the islands of Raasay, Scalpay, Pabay and the Crowlin Islands.
There is a quiet sandy beach just 5 minutes away which is a bird watcher's paradise.
Convenient for all local restaurants and amenities, Fernlea makes a good base from which to tour the whole of Skye.
On arrival at Fernlea we welcome guests with complimentary refreshments of tea or coffee, etc. Home baking.
The area abounds in wildlife. Deer come into the garden; they eat the hostas, but we forgive them. Also ducks and herons visit the pond; the heron takes fish and frogs, but we have to forgive him too!
